Hi, I am Kerrie Harris!
I am the owner and operator of Miracles Massage LLC.
Because I offer lymphatic drainage massage in my practice, I began getting post op clients several years back. I quickly discovered that what I learned at Baltimore School of Massage and the CEU classes I took for manual lymphatic drainage was not the most productive approach to help post op clients heal and get the best results from their plastic surgeries.
I began doing a lot of independent research to learn how to help my post op clients, and found there was not a lot of courses offering post op massage, for accreditation or just for general knowledge. I was left to do my own research and figure it out! All the while, I was treating more and more post op clients. I have spent these several years discovering, honing, mastering and compiling my Post Op Body Sculpting techniques and knowledge with my practical studies.
I learned by real experience which techniques worked and what didn’t work. I learned what actions by me produced the body sculpting results my clients were looking for and the best practices for reducing client pain.
After every post op massage, I ask my clients to look in the mirror to see if they notice a difference, all my clients see an improved contoured look, decrease in their swelling, and most report their pain is greatly reduced if not altogether gone. Since this is the norm, I gained confidence that my approach and techniques are beneficial to clients, helping them heal quicker, look and feel better while I minimize post op pain.
After working on post op clients for several years, and seeing how my service helps them look great faster and more importantly, feel great, I decided to get my own cosmetic procedure done. I wanted to understand the healing journey from the perspective of my clients’, regarding pain levels, wearing the faja, etc.
Much to my disappointment, I could not find a massage therapist to give me my post op massages!
I went to massage therapists who said they provided post op massage, but they didn’t do it the way I do, and I did not feel any relief after those sessions.
As a massage therapist providing post op massage, I realized the best way to find other massage therapists offering post op lymphatic drainage was to train anyone interested in learning, and I immediately began designing this course.
Plastic surgery is more popular and affordable than ever, and post op clients need multiple massages a week during their healing journey. Post Op Massage is a fun modality, and the need for therapists is growing every day.
I am excited to teach you the post op techniques that spares your hands, can elongate your massage career and help people heal quickly to look and feel great. Nothing feels better than knowing you really helped someone (as you already know), and doing post op massages makes you feel great, as your clients always leave so much happier and more comfortable than when they arrived.
Taking this class can change your whole practice, or at a minimum, add a very lucrative talent to your current skillset.
I look forward to meeting you and sharing my knowledge on this topic.
Sincerely,
Kerrie Harris
